Rancho Tepúa Bacanora is a beautiful introduction to the lesser-known world of bacanora, a cousin of mezcal produced in the northern Mexican state of Sonora. Made from wild Amarillo agave by Roberto Contreras Jr., this bacanora is soft and approachable with a fruity, herbal profile. Expect notes of papaya, melon, and green herbs, all wrapped in a whisper of earthy smoke.
Fermented in open-air wooden vats and distilled in copper alembics, this spirit is clean, bright, and highly drinkable—perfect for sipping on warm evenings or introducing someone to agave spirits beyond the mainstream.
